Dr. Constance Mack Andrews is a distinguished higher education executive with broad leadership experience spanning academic and faculty affairs, talent acquisition, executive search, international program services, and military service. She currently serves as Associate Vice President for Talent Acquisition at Morehouse School of Medicine, providing strategic oversight for enterprise wide recruitment, executive search, and workforce planning in support of institutional mission, academic excellence, and long term organizational sustainability.
With deep expertise in human resources, academic and faculty affairs, Dr. Mack Andrews partners closely with senior leadership, deans, and academic stakeholders to design and implement faculty and leadership recruitment strategies that advance teaching, research, and service priorities. She brings a strong understanding of shared governance, accreditation frameworks, and faculty lifecycle management, ensuring hiring practices align with institutional standards and equity goals.
Dr. Mack Andrews is widely recognized for her executive search expertise, having led and advised complex searches for senior academic leaders, faculty, and administrative executives. Her portfolio also includes leadership in international program services and this experience informs her perspective on workforce globalization, international compliance considerations, and culturally responsive leadership.
In addition to her civilian career, Dr. Mack Andrews served honorably in the United States Army Reserve, retiring at the rank of Colonel. She held a myriad of progressively responsible leadership roles. Her terminal role of service was as a Joint Team Lead – Assistant to the Director, Customer Operations Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land and Maritime in Columbus, Ohio 2020 with leadership of joint service element. Her military career reflects a deep commitment to service, operational excellence, and leadership development, and continues to influence her disciplined, mission focused approach to executive leadership.
Dr. Mack Andrews holds an undergraduate degree in political science from the University of South Carolina, a master’s degree in strategic human resources from Clark Atlanta University, and a doctoral degree in higher education administration from The University of Georgia. She is respected for her strategic insight, collaborative leadership style, and unwavering commitment to developing talent that drives institutional impact, operational effectiveness, and student success.
